CHESSMEN is a collaborative, art-and-story-focused world-building and fiction-writing project centered around dead humans who have been reborn as chess pieces, dolls, and sometimes other things in a surreal fantasy-modern setting that takes place long after the end of the world. These post-humans live, love, fight and die for the things they care about while an entity known as the Tower plots to annihilate all that ever was, once and for all.
